Energy kicks too risky

N for this seasoned coffee drinker, the buzz is on. Knock back a couple of caffeine-charged, sugar-laden energy drinks and the urge is strong to get moving, fire up and do something.

The heart races, the hand vibrates – there is so much punch packed into such a little drink.

Energy drinks – the ones with glittery labels and long lists of wild-sounding ingredients – are the legal drink of choice among young people today. And they are drinking them in quantities that are way outside the prescribed safety zone.

Just drink it and drink it some more.

But of course it doesn't end with just the energy drinks and vodka, - lets add

speed, e's, gbh, and whatever else comes across the table on the nite too.
