Nah, sorry 10men, the sight of a woman with a rifle and bayonet just irritates me. For starters, she's s sailor and the average sailor thinks a bayonet is for chipping rust. She's very likely had no training whatsoever in how to use the thing and will never have to even if she could. Women in the military are a bloody joke, unless they're in support roles. (no doubt I'll cop some crap for that but there's now a hell of a lot of evidence that the push to have women serve in front-line positions has been an abject failure)
I'm not aware of any problems with women on the front line (not my current field) but I feel that they should be protected in war.
Training is out of her control and up to the Brass. Which considering the level of PC in the UK armed forces your probably correct about the bayonet training kg.
However to me they're beautiful, skilled and brave.
