Pretty damn awesome ..... MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 262 (Reinforced), and AV-8B Harrier jets, assigned to Marine Attack Squadron (VMA) 231, take off and land on the flight deck of the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6).

Aircraft assigned to Carrier Air Wing 17 conduct the final flight operations in direct support of Operation Inherent Resolve aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.

The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is deployed to the area supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, conducting maritime security operations, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, and theater security cooperation efforts.
