Gun Stories - A place to tell

So, what's your story sweet pea?

Gunstories.org -- a place for everyone to tell their story

Gunstories.org -- a place for everyone to tell their story
A new website is looking for stories that show what experiences shaped what people believe about guns and gun rights. Some of the stories may end up as part of a feature documentary or a TV series in the early stages of development.

Gunstories.org has stories from all points of view -- pro, anti, and everything in between. Let's make sure our stories get heard.

The site launched with a handful of stories -- gathered through research, as well as with the help of pro- and anti-gun organizations – and will grow as people submit their stories. Visitors will also be able to upload photos and links to videos related to their story.

Some of the stories: Patrick Hodges, the first TV photojournalist on the scene at Virginia Tech, reflects on guns and gun violence in the wake of what he witnessed there. Rodger Iverson, a former NRA lobbyist, tells how he helped an 81-year-old African-American woman get her handgun back after the police confiscated it when she used it to scare off a ski-masked intruder.

"Bill J." describes how, although he grew up around rifles and shotguns, his attitudes about guns and the gun industry changed after his 16-year-old son William was murdered on his first day of work at a fast food restaurant. Galia Berry went in the opposite direction after her son was seriously injured in a violent crime. She became an advocate for other innocent victims of violent crimes and, as a result of her experiences with the court system, decided that she needed to learn how to use a gun to protect herself.

Haha, I love that site!

Women with guns is always a good combination, I doubt it will take long to pull in the punters!
