Nonetheless, I would suggest that, rather than echoing the classic government cover-up catch-phrase, "Move along folks, nothing to see here, move along" - you might want to research this matter on your own before you dismiss my concerns out of hand.
Not long ago I was quite a fan of LGF. I worked hard to get them removed from the blacklists run by "censorware" firms, and worked hard to get their stories promoted on Digg in spite of the efforts of the "bury brigade." I received no recompense for any of this - I just did it because I believed it was the right thing to do. Since then, I have become very disheartened to see what has happened to the site. Some truly bizarre things are going on over there.
Yes, LGF continues to post some valid, truthful counterterrorism-related news items. But then, numerous other blogs these days perform that service just as well or better, and without slandering and banning innocent parties in the process.
Suffice it to say that if you were to post comments at LGF that are anything like the articles that you are currently posting on this blog, you would be banned in a heartbeat. That would most likely not have been the case even a few months ago. So before you assume that nothing has changed over there, you owe it to yourself to check it out very carefully.
I have noticed a change but only slightly and not enough to turn fortress oz away from LGF.
LGF is still a world leader in my view.
I suggest giving it all a break and check out LGF in 6 mths time.
