Past & Current Jihad

Philosopher John Gray and historian Eric Hobsbawm recently said on British television that even the word “Islamist” was “unfair” because “it implied a strong link to Islam.
Good heavens, what kind of history does this Eric Hobsbawm specialize in to qualify as 'historian'? ". . .the word “Islamist” was “unfair” because “it implied a strong link to Islam.”
Certainly he hasn't studied the history of islam.

The Vision for the post-Islamic (and post-religious) world

Some Hope-

Don't count out the UK just yet...a backlash is fomenting, even amongst the elites, intellectuals and former lefties (Nick Cohen is a good example - read his book "What's Left?")....The Euston Manifesto group has grown enormously since their first meeting - it is certainly a group of liberals, but true liberals - not Marxists/socialists). There are plenty of academics who have been silenced, but they are starting to come out. The rest of Europe might be lost (although the election of Sarkozy is a good sign) but Britain can still recover from its PC illness. I still have faith in my adopted country.

Even if the Brits realize what's happening to them, they've already let so many Islamists in that whole cities, like Birmingham, are mostly Moslem now. I don't know what they can do about it, after the fact. We are digging the same grave for ourselves here in the states.

It's been said that the native populations will flee the cities to the country areas.

Islamist city areas will be unsafe for non-muslims. A country within a country. Talk about being sold out by socialist leftists elites.
