Future of Freedom
D. C. Watson: A message to our grandchildren
Here's one to print out and put in your hope chest, to pass along to your grandchildren along with your diamond broche: D. C. Watson writes to the future.
You may read this today, or you may not read it for years, or even decades. I hope that your parents will pass it down to you. You see, you are the future of freedom.
As I write this, some of you haven't even been born yet. Some of you may be too young to remember the Islamic attacks against our nation nearly five years ago.
You were just babies then. Some of you may be old enough to remember some of what happened that day, while the rest of you will learn more about September 11, 2001 from your parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles.
Either way, I write this message to you so that if by the time you read this Islam has not been reformed or its bellicosity neutralized, and this deadly, ongoing war of ideology (civilized vs. barbaric) continues after we're gone, you will be informed. You will be prepared to confront the challenges you'll face from those who threaten your happiness, wellbeing, and ability to choose how you want to live your life.
It is May 7, 2006. For the last few decades, in particular the most recent one, the United States of America and many other free, democratic nations have accepted millions of immigrants who practice Islam.
While it is unfortunate, it is certainly true that these people, not all but far too many, have come into our lands with the expectation of being catered to, of eliminating the national pastimes and traditions of their host nations, and of ultimately compelling our nations to follow Islamic laws.
They arrive to live among us under the guise of fleeing oppression in their homelands. Yet they claim to be offended by the most trivial, petty items, issues and actions -- in an attempt to compel Westerners through guilt-manipulation to conform to their behavioral norms. They have no respect for the hard work that has been put in to building our nations, nor do they have an ounce of respect for all of the members of our respective Armed Forces who have fought and died for our freedoms.
If your parents happen to tell you that the teachings of Islam encourage violent behavior, and your schoolteacher tells you that they do not, by all means…listen to your parents, and make them aware of any school activities that pertain to the subject of Islam.
They need to know, so that you aren't inadvertently indoctrinated. If you end up going to college, there's a good chance that one or more of your professors, who have been safely tucked away on a college campus for years, may attempt to tell you that the United States and its people are the world’s oppressors. You may hear the same thing being said in an Islamic Studies Center located on campus. Please don't allow yourselves to fall into this false mindset. It is a lie.
You may hear a teacher, talk show host, news anchor, or politician argue that Islam is a religion of peace. While some Muslims desire harmony, be assured that Islam is not and has never been a religion of peace. Its holy book contains numerous exhortations to violence. For the past 1400 years, if Muslims haven't been at war with non-Muslims, they've been killing each other.
While you're in school, you may be given textbooks that portray Islam positively and Christianity negatively. These books present a fanciful, fictionalized, propagandistic view of history, designed to manipulate you.
In the first Islamic centuries, after Muhammad claimed to have received a message from God, Islam was spread not by teachings of peace, but by violence. In modern times, little has changed.
No matter what some may try to tell you, the following is the truth about the Islamic faith. You, as the future defenders of freedom and equality, deserve to know it:
1) At the time I write this message, concerns about Islamic extremism are overwhelmingly high in the West.
2) Negative perception of Islam is increasing at a substantial rate.
3) Since Muslims attacked the United States on 9/11/2001, as of today they have carried out 4,828 terrorist attacks around the world, killing and wounding many people who have done nothing but be in the wrong place at the wrong time. This number does not reflect the more than 25,000 attacks that have been carried out against the people of Israel.
4) Muslims have been the cause of social unrest in the majority of Western nations to which they have sought refuge.
5) Islam began nearly 1,400 years ago. Yet after all of this time, even in modern society, women are still oppressed, non-Muslims in Islamic lands are still persecuted for practicing non-Islamic religions, and millions of Muslims remain committed to establishing the Islamic social order everywhere in the world.
They are incapable of accomplishing this militarily.
So they attempt to do it by:
-- Bushwhacking innocent men, women and children.
-- Posing as Muslim civil rights organizations, then manipulating the media and elected government officials who were voted into office to represent the interests of the United States and the American people.
-- Labeling anyone who confronts them as racists.
-- Mass birthing.
-- Converting non-Muslims to Islam.
-- Using oil as leverage.
Someday, you may read about, see on the news, or even be approached by a Muslim or member of a Muslim organization. He or she will smile, speak softly, and tell you that Islam poses no threat to freedom. If this were true, they wouldn't need to say it.
They may be wearing expensive suits. In any case they will be sharp, well-spoken, articulate. They will tell you that all they want is to coexist in America and the West. They may even offer you a copy of the Qur'an. They will tell you that we all believe in the same God, and that Islam is similar to Christianity.
If this day ever comes, I ask you to use your common sense, to remember your national traditions and values, to think about the sacrifices made by so many in order to solidify the freedoms you enjoy today, and to realize that there's a deceitful manipulator standing in front of you who'd just as soon see your head on a stick. Why do I say that? Because of what is written in their holy book:
Qur'an 5:51: "O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other..."
Qur'an 9:5: "So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush."
Qur'an 48:29: "Muhammad is God's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another."
Qur'an 4:34: "Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other….Good women are obedient. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them."
Your future depends on you. It is important to understand that while trading goods with other nations is healthy, becoming dependent on, or being held hostage by, nations that control resources that you need (such as energy), is not only foolish, but potentially deadly. This is especially true when these nations are run by fanatics who want to spread their backward, brutal version of culture all over the world.
If you cannot obtain or produce the energy you need from your own homeland, its territories, or nations closer to home, then learning to further develop and utilize alternative sources of energy, making oil a thing of the past, will be of the utmost importance.
Lastly, many elected government officials have become out of touch with the interests of the American people. They have ignored the fact that they work for the people who voted them into office. Unless the American Bill of Rights is somehow eliminated by those who are more interested in internationalism than they are nationalism, you, with your votes, will have the power to either remove them from office, or prevent them from winning office in the first place. Please pay close attention to their words and actions, so that America stays………America.
Thank you. And remember, you are the future. With knowledge, backbone, and the willingness to listen to American patriots and your informed family elders, you win.
